The Innovation Fair returns on 21st October: more connections, more talent and more new developments that you won't want to miss.

On 21 October, the UAB Innovation Fair will once again fill the Hotel Exe Campus with disruptive ideas, technology and collaboration between research and society.

With more than 200 organisations registered to date —including more than 60 innovative companies— the Fira has established itself as a leading event for connecting research groups, companies and institutions in the region. In total, there will be more than 250 participants, including companies from the most cutting-edge sectors of R&D&I.

This edition is packed with new features. One of the most important is the extension of the matchmaking session, with more time slots to help boost and multiply high-value contacts between exhibitors and attending companies. And as contacts are also made through spontaneous conversations, we have created informal networking spaces to encourage synergies.

In addition, a podcast will be recorded with Carme Artigas, who this year will be in charge of the conference on the future of technologies and their impact. The expert in AI and technology policy will participate in a very special recording, where the audience will be able to choose the title and participate in real time. The day will be hosted by Oriol Llop, who will also be in charge of the podcast.

The Fair also stands out for the variety of participants involved. More than 65 research groups and spin-offs from the UAB will showcase their knowledge and technologies to innovative companies in the region, public institutions and local administrations, research centres and institutes, and professionals in areas such as biotechnology and health, food and veterinary science, sustainability and the environment, materials and energy, ICT, and social sciences and humanities.

The UAB Innovation Fair is thus establishing itself as a meeting place between research and society, where research can encounter the real challenges of those who need it. If you are looking to collaborate with scientific teams, identify talent or create new R&D&I projects, we will see you on 21 October.
