UAB research drives new opportunities for innovation in the children's and family sector.
Several research groups from the University took part in a session organised by the KID'S CLUSTER to connect academic expertise, businesses and funding opportunities for projects with educational and social impact.
The UAB has strengthened its contribution to the development of innovative projects in the childcare and family sector through the participation of several research groups in the Innovation Session in the Childcare and Family Sector organised by KID'S CLUSTER.
The meeting brought together companies, research centres and funding experts with the aim of identifying collaboration opportunities and turning ideas into tangible projects with a real impact by 2026. The UAB's participation is part of the University's commitment to knowledge transfer, collaboration with the socio-economic environment, and the promotion of strategic alliances between universities, businesses and innovation agents.
Representing UAB, research groups with expertise in education, communication, pedagogical innovation, inclusion and social impact participated. The Education and Communication Office of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, with the participation of Beatriz Villarejo and Cristina Pulido, contributed its experience in communication, education and social impact. Also participating was the ERDISC research group from the Faculty of Education Sciences, represented by Anna Tarrés, with a contribution focused on educational research, pedagogical innovation and inclusion.
The presence of these groups allowed the potential of UAB research to be highlighted in addressing real sector challenges and in generating new collaborations with companies and other stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem.
The UAB's participation was driven and coordinated by the CORE for Education and Employability and the UAB Research Park, which worked together to identify opportunities, facilitate connections with the KID'S CLUSTER and promote the presence of research groups in this collaborative space.
The session opens the door to new opportunities for cooperation between the University's research groups, companies in the children's and family sector, and entities that support innovation financing.
