Challenges on circular economy and technology from companies within the territory
Seven Catalan companies have proposed different challenges in the fields of technology 4.0 and circular economy, so undergraduate and FP students work collaboratively by looking for answers during the project Innovation Day.
Innovation Day: Talent Solutions is an initiative promoted by the Molins de Rei town hall and the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, with support of the Diputació de Barcelona, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Citilab, and the town halls of Cervelló, Corbera de Llobregat, El Papiol, La Palma de Cervelló, Pallejà, Sant Vicenç dels Horts, and Vallirana, which want to bring technology to service the university community to give an answer, thanks to open innovation and collaboration, to the new contexts, necessities, and challenges to companies.
The goal is to connect companies that are looking for innovative solutions to their business challenges in the fields of technology 4.0 and circular economy with FP seniors, undergraduate seniors, PhD candidates, and FP and college graduates from technology fields who offer solutions to said challenges. The program wants to give participants the necessary entrepreneurial competences and techniques of ideation and prototyping for the development of innovative solutions.
October 1st will be the date of the first brainstorming session, a day to generate ideas from the business challenges dynamised by the UAB Research Park. Participants will break into groups from 4 to 10 to develop an answer proposal to the challenge they have chosen. The activity is targeted towards all of the community within UAB, especially students.
