This Monday, July 7th, a delegation formed by personalities from the University of Andorra and the Andorran Government have visited the facilities of the UAB Research Park as part of a visit focused on the development of alliances and the experience in the entrepreneurial and business incubation processes.

A delegation made up of Conxita Marsol (Minister of the Presidency, Economy, Employment and Housing of Andorra), Juli Minoves Triquell (rector of the University of Andorra), and the members of the Andorran delegation arrived yesterday at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where they have been received by Javier Lafuente, UAB rector.

Lafuente has also been responsible for the institutional welcome. Next, Rosa Maria Sebastián, Vice-rector of Innovation, Knowledge Exchange and Entrepreneurship and Director of the PRUAB, has been in charge of introducing the mission, vision and main lines of actuation, as well as some highlighted projects and collaborations with businesses and institutions.

The visit has continued with a visit of the installations of the PRUAB Eureka building. During said visit, visitors have discovered the mission of companies such as Afinitica and AC Marca, located in the building, as well as the value that being in the Park brings.

The delegation then held a more distant meeting with various members of the UAB Research Park coordination team: Júlia Palma, coordinator of the Entrepreneurship and Territory Unit; Martin Buffa, coordinator of the University-Business Collaborations Unit; and Cristina Camarasa, coordinator of the Space Management Unit.

The visit ended with a talk by Carlos Valero, manager of the UAB Research Park.
