UAB Research Park, UAB PhD School
The UAB Research Park and the UAB PhD School have teamed up to organise a series of seminars to give tools to the research personnel in training.
The seminars, which are free, offer different tools and methodologies to apply the research results and obtain skills on entrepreneurship and innovation, besides understanding the key aspects of the tech transfer ecosystem. The goals of the program are the following:
- Discovering the possible transfer uses of their thesis to society.
- Improving the quality of the thesis, focusing it on applicability and innovation.
Thus, they promote the personal growth and improve the confidence on the presentation of the project, optimising the communication according to the needs of the audience.
The fifth and last session will be taught by David Hernandez during an online seminar on February 26th, from 4 to 5:30 pm. With this session on high-impact presentations, we will take a trip to the different types of presentations that a project requires for a proper dissemination. From the elevator pitch and voice projection to the appropriate implementation of a presentation. We will discover examples that show the importance of the sum of these elements, as well as having time during the session to learn about simple, yet extremely useful, tools for creating presentations.
