Infoday: «NEOTEC: Present, Past and Future»
This information session is aimed at researchers and entrepreneurs interested in creating technological spin-offs and will focus on the NEOTEC programme. The session will present the current call for applications, share insights from companies emerging from the research environment, and provide an opportunity to ask questions about funding opportunities and the process of establishing deep-tech companies.

The UAB Research Park, together with the Institute of Microelectronics of Barcelona (IMB-CNM-CSIC) and the CDTI, is organising an information day on the NEOTEC programme, which is one of the main initiatives supporting the creation of technology-based companies in Spain.
The session will provide information on the current NEOTEC programme application process, showcase successful spin-off cases arising from the research environment, and offer researchers and entrepreneurs an open space to ask questions about setting up deep-tech companies.
The day will be structured into three sections:
- Presentation of the NEOTEC call by Emilio Iglesias Cadarso, head of the Department of Institutional Promotion and Territorial Cooperation of the Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI).
- Success stories: tales of spin-offs created in recent years linked to the IMB-CNM CSIC on the UAB Campus. AiQUOS and FlexiiC will share its business journey.
- Open round of questions, giving researchers and entrepreneurs who are creating or considering creating a spin-off the opportunity to ask questions.
