The City and Science Biennial is one of the most important science communication events held in the city of Barcelona, demonstrating the commitment to science policy. In fact, it is one of the initiatives featured in the Barcelona Science and Innovation Strategic Plan 2024–2027, with the aim of strengthening science outreach and communication activities to foster critical thinking, knowledge and scientific vocations at all ages. The first three editions have already attracted 30,000 visitors.

The next Biennial 2025 brings you a host of proposals to experience today's rapid changes, to live in dignified and equal conditions, and to experience creativity, complexity, research and their processes. All from science and knowledge. In this edition, the Biennale has scheduled up to 130 activities designed to reflect on and bring the quantum revolution, a discipline that has profoundly transformed the world since the beginning of the 20th century, closer to the public.
