About us
We help companies that support innovation by connecting with the knowledge created on the UAB campus to bring it to society.
The UAB Research Park
We are a non-profit foundation created in 2007 by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) and the Institut de Recerca i Tecnologia Agroalimentària (IRTA).
Our mission is to facilitate the interaction between researchers, companies and society, and to promote and improve the University's knowledge and technology transfer activities.
We are an efficient innovation tool, able to communicate and respond to the needs of companies and organisations, researchers and entrepreneurs.
Driving innovation through collaboration
We are experts in creating synergies between researchers, companies, organisations and public administrations to generate innovations that respond to the needs of society.
We work with co-creation methods to identify social needs and agreements between all the key players, allowing us to improve the territory through the research and innovation generated at the university.
We create meeting points, boost public-private cooperation projects and promote business projects.
Download our Activity Report, the document that summarises the efforts, successes and challenges we have experienced each year to consolidate our position as a reference in the world of innovation.
Strategic alliances
The UAB Research Park participates in several territorial projects aimed at improving knowledge transfer and promoting innovation through public-private partnerships.
Hub b30 is an open innovation network created to promote collaboration, economic development and social cohesion of the territory around the axis of the B30.
An alliance between the Sant Cugat Town Council and thirty companies and academic, technological and research institutions, whose aim is to consolidate the Valais town as a benchmark for innovation and entrepreneurship at national and international level.
We are a member of the Catalan Science and Technology Parks Network (XPCAT) and the Spanish Science and Technology Parks Association (APTE).
