UAB Innovation Fair 2025 opens registration for exhibitors
The UAB Research Park has opened the registration period for research groups and start-ups from the UAB campus that are interested in participating as exhibitors at the UAB Innovation Fair 2025, which will take place on 21 October as part of the UAB Innovation Week.
The Innovation Fair has become a meeting point for researchers, companies and institutions with the aim of promoting knowledge transfer and fostering new collaborations. The event is a showcase for emerging technologies, R&D projects and innovative solutions developed at UAB.
Through a networking activity, research groups will have the opportunity to showcase their scientific advances and establish contacts with potential industrial and institutional partners.
New this year, research staff participating as exhibitors will be able to attend an exclusive training session in advance to learn how to get the most out of their participation in the fairs and better communicate the value of their research. The training will cover key aspects such as techniques for selling their technology offering, how to attract the attention of companies and investors, or best practices for maintaining relationships with companies and generating collaborations and agreements.
Interested research groups and start-ups have until 25 May to register using this form.
The previous edition of the fair, held at the Hotel Exe Campus, brought together 300 people. The day's programme included an exhibition of technologies and knowledge from 80 research groups and 20 start-ups from the University. All of them presented more than 200 technologies or services aimed at companies and organisations.
